Yo Mike,
Fun show last night at Murpheys and great meeting you and Paulette; to bad most of the people in the joint were more interested in drinking and yapping than listening to the great sounds of real pros. They were clueless, but for me it was an an honor, a treat & more importantly a whole lot of fun, and that’s all that counts. Now if only I could figure out a way to make some money it would even be better, Ha, HA.
Look forward to seeing you guys again.
Michael Aingel

I received a link from EL today that took me to Harmony Street’s videos on YouTube. One led to another and then a photo of Mikey and a beautiful woman. I listened to your song Mikey that is dedicated to Paulette and thought "something very special is going on." Congrats and all the best to you. Love was standing in front of you Mikey....and you deserve everything that is great. I’m going to watch the tape you placed in my hand - seems like a lifetime ago. Time for memories to be brought to the surface. Time for excellent Doo Wop and harmony.

Hello Mike and Paulette,
All I can say is "Wow," you are a terrific singer. I live in SoCal and out west we don’t hear many Doo Wop singing groups anymore. I’m sure glad that you and Harmony Street and the other groups you have sung with, all keep the music of the 50’s and 60’s alive. Your tribute to Jimmy Beaumont and the Skyliners was just great with "Since I Don’t Have you" and "This I Swear." Please let me know if you will be appearing in Vegas or when your recordings on CD/DVD will be available. You’ve got a lifelong follower here. Thank You.

Hi Mike,
Just moved to Port St. Lucie 6 months ago. I was in several groups in Ct. most of my life. Sure miss it and would love to join a group down here. I can do leads, baritone, second tenor and have a falcetto. You can view the last group I was with before moving on Youtube, search "Platinum Geezers" and "Platinum Mobsters". I would at least like to do a meet and greet with you soon. Please advise. Til then.....

Hi Mike; Just saw your comment on Born in the Bronx. Wondered where you were these days. Miss seeing you with Harmony Street. Just went to see them in Danbury a few weeks ago. Glad you are enjoying the good life in Fla. We have a place in Marco. I went to JHS 127 too but left in 1959 to James Monroe. Stay well........Joan

Mike,
I luckily ran across your music on YouTube yesterday. You have (had?) a great group. I enjoyed the clips immensely. You personally could have stepped in the ring with Johnny Maestro at any time and thereafter held your own. I grew up in Westbury on LI and would, at every opportunity, go for a few shooters at a Rock & Roll bar in Farmingdale. They had a group that played there called the 4 Rays. They were excellent and performed a few great songs by the Earls. I’m surprised that the somewhat older bar didn’t collapse when they would do Never… In the early sixties I bought a white Fender Stratocaster from some guy in Queens. While I was buying the guitar, the seller mentioned that it was at one time owned by one of the Crests. Anyway I could find out who that gentleman/owner might have been. I can only guess that I went to this house in the vicinity of Jamacia. Thangx, Tom O
PS; if it ever came to settling a disagreement in the parking lot, I would choose that blonde in your group as backup. The girl looks in shape.. Good for her!

Dear Mike Miller,
One evening I was searching "You Tube" for Jimmy Beaumont and The Skyliners and somehow stumbled across all of your music. I found some of your solo songs and some with Harmony Street. I instantly fell in love with the your sound. I now listen to your music over and over again. One song that I absolutely adore is the song you wrote for your wife Paulette;
"No Ordinary Love"!!
I have also tuned in to your radio talk show and listen to your interviews which I enjoy.
I would love to purchase your CD of songs and would appreciate if you can take a few moments to get back to me on how to go about obtaining your CD’s.
I have become a new fan of yours and I live in Plantation, Florida . I would love to know if you will be performing any time soon in Florida.
Can you be so kind as to please reply back to me, an original Brooklynite from Sheepshead Bay,with information on how to purchase your music as well as any future concerts or appearances that you may be scheduling in the near future.
Thanking you in advance,
Meryl

I live in Augusta,GA, but I am originally from the Hudson Valley of New York and grew up there in the 50’s and 60’s. So Doo Wop music is in my DNA. I’ve been trying for the last few years to convince the Augusta Symphony to feature Jimmy Beaumont and the Skyliners here in one of their "Pops At The Bell" concerts. They featured the Diamonds a few years ago. I have been working with Nick to keep them in front of the Augusta Symphony General Manager. There is no doubt about it, the Skyliners are, hands down, the very best at what they do.

Hi Michael, many thanks for keeping doo-wop alive, caus, it is now more than half a century ago and life seems to go faster everyday, 50/60 years for some people a lifetime, some of the older wonderful stars, also should be glad, you wanted to pose with them, perhaps wou were born a little too late, but gifted with a great voice as well, you proved that with the Harmony Street, however many good things in life come to an end, like Bjorn and Benny once wrote; THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC!
Warm greetings from Holland, Elisius-Antoon-Maria van der Loo.

Hello Mike,
I lisentened to your interview with Jimmy Beaumont and the Skyliners. Great show!
I am friends with them all and have played drums for them on a few shows in the ’80s. I went to H.S. and played in a show band through the ’70s with Rick Morris who had rejoined the Skyliners last year.
I love them all and appreciate what you are doing for the business.

Michael; Was listening today to your Clay Cole interview to gather some further background on my brother Clay Cole career, who as you know passed away in mid-December. Our family is considering the possibility of creating a Clay Cole Memorial Foundation that would, from contributions and book sales, annually award a Clay Cole Performer Award to upcoming talent, both in New York where he saw his own dream for success in show business fulfilled, and back in the Ohio area where he grew up. Your live interview with Clay has provided me with some great insights, and I appreciate the friendship you and Clay fostered during his later years. God bless you and may you have a wonderful, prosperous, and successful new year.

Hi Mike,
I wanted to let you that I found your interview with J.T. Carter very informative about the formation of the Crests. Thank You for taking the time to do the interviews you put together. As you may know, these interviews serve a very important archival purpose about the history of Doo Wop.
Sincerely,
Walter

who is a real honest to goodness mench. When Johnny is here in March, it would be my pleasure to go see him with you.

Mike, I just finished listening and I LOVED IT!!!! It was great and I love the way you organized it in from the start on up. I can tell Gene really enjoyed it. You did a great job with it, and I loved the way the music coincided with the progression of their career. "Where Do We Go From Here" is at the top of my list, too, and Gene and I have discussed it more than once. I think his vocals are perfection on that song. They're all great, and I, like you, love everything they ever recorded. The very first time I heard "My True Story" in1961, they became my favorite group, and Gene my favorite male vocalist. Thank you for the kind comments you made about me. They are much appreciated. My eyes are half shut - way beyond my bedtime. lol GREAT JOB!!!

Hello Mike
Let me start out by saying, I just finished listening to your interview
with Lola and the Saints. In my opinion, one of the best interviews I have ever heard and very entertaining and informative. In other
words I just loved it and with your permission I would like to run
it live Friday night. You know they are one of my favorite groups out there today. I was the first guy to play Forever In Love. That
song like you said was a grand slam. Thanks for a great show there
Mike.
I'll be on tonight playing that great promo you did for me and a few
of your songs as well. Have a great day and give my best to Paulette.
Best Always:

Mike ! it was like being in a time capsule ! Your interview with Stan gave me goosebump's ! It sounded like my life story I reminded Stan when we were all stuck in Jim Gribble's studio for two day's because of a snow storm . Stan Vicent was there, the Dell-Satins, I don't think we slept. Just kept singing. That had to be 1962 Lot's of laugh's and harmony.Thank's for these Interviews, they mean a lot to me.
